Fiesta will celebrate Filipino culture

Oahu’s Filipino community will celebrate as one tomorrow when the 18th annual Filipino Fiesta takes place in Waikiki.
The day starts at 9 a.m. with a parade along Kalakaua Avenue (starting at Fort DeRussy) that will showcase various aspects of Filipino history and culture. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kapiolani Park, the fiesta itself will include a variety of live entertainment and vendor booths, along with food booths serving up authentic Filipino fare.
