Babies take spotlight at weekend expo

It’s Hawaii’s largest prenatal-to-preschool fair this weekend, as the 13th Annual New Baby Expo happens at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
More than 150 exhibitors, demonstrations, entertainment events and activities are scheduled, including the expo’s signature events — the Baby Crawling Contest and Hawaii’s Largest Baby Shower (for the island’s hapai moms) — happening at 1 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday, respectively.
Returning for the second year in a row is the Hawaii Beautiful Baby Photo Contest and “Love of Reading with Super Why!,” presented by PBS Hawaii’s Keiki Club and featuring the popular preschool series character.
